Aimed at players that enjoy PvP tactics and strategy, but find MOBA and RTS games too twitchy or time consuming.

Hi!

My name is Petar Ivanček and I would like to share a gamplay concept I've been working on.

GAMEPLAY:

  • Destroy the enemy base
  • Buy heroes to protect your base
  • Control the center to collect more gold
  • Use gold to upgrade your heroes
  • With each upgrade a Hero gets a new ability, as well as more HP and damage

CHALLENGE:
Try to defeat the AI in less than 5 minutes.

BUGS & TIPS:

  • If you are switching resolution in html, and a UI gets scrambled, return to the main menu and play again. This will sort out the UI.
  • Upgraded Heroes take longer to respawn and yield more gold when killed
  • Upgrade the Cannon - it automatically shoots at the enemy base
  • Use enemy UI Targeter - the little UI element above your Hero panels
  • The game is stable, but there might be occasional glitches in Hero behaviour
  • Use "NUMPAD *" and "NUMPAD /" to change game speed (if you find it too fast or too slow)

Seems like a great base to expand on, it's already very fun as is.

A way to see what each units stats and abilities are before you pick them and without having to worry about time would be great, so you don't have to play a run with each unit to really know how they work.

An active pause could be interesting too, to let you plan out combos or time abilities more easily.

Great prototype overall

I would LOVE to hear your comments, they are the sole reason for release.

With your feedback this concept can be expanded into something more elaborate.

Thanks!
